My name is Joan Hutson Parks and I would like to thank you for visiting my new website.

I came to this love of digital artistry naturally. My mother loved painting and sculpting and my father was a computer expert. One day I started to combine both of these genres to produce what I think are unique and unusual works of art. I hope you feel that way too after viewing my portfolio.

Although I enjoy photographing nature and love landscape shots, my true passion is finding the alter image inside each picture. I use my computer to manipulate photographs to produce a new and unique image. A building becomes an abstract landscape and a flower develops into a series of flowing lines. My desert moon logo is an example of what I do. It started out as the sun going down on Lake Michigan.
